YG Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as YG) announced that it will announce at a later date whether it will renew its contract with its group Blackpink (Jennie, Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo).
YG released its quarterly report on November 14th.
YG said in this quarterly report, "As of the disclosure date, the exclusive contract with the artist is being negotiated for renewal. The final result will be announced later through the disclosure of key management matters related to investment decisions."

It has been about two months since YG revealed its official position on Blackpink's contract renewal negotiations. Blackpink, who debuted in August 2016, has been negotiating a contract renewal with YG ahead of the expiration of its seven-year exclusive contract in August of this year.
Some say that, excluding Rosé, the three Blackpink members (Lisa, Jennie, and Jisoo) decided not to renew their contracts with YG. There was also a rumor that Jenny and Jisoo were establishing a one-person agency.
In relation to this, YG released an official statement to Newsen on September 25th, saying, "Nothing has yet been confirmed regarding Blackpink's contract renewal and future activities."
Meanwhile, YG Entertainment includes AKMU, Winner, Sechs Kies, Jinusean, Treasure, Baby Monster, actors Kim Hee-ae, Seo Jeong-yeon, Son Na-eun, Yoo Seung-ho, Yoo In-na, Lee Sung-kyung, Lee Soo-hyuk, Lee Ho-jung, Jang Ki-yong, Jang Hyun-sung, Jeong Hye-young, Cha Seung-won, Jin Kyung, and Choi Ji-woo. , Han Seung-yeon, and model Joo Woo-jae belong to the group.
